"Your Response May Be Cut Off"

<p>On the EC section, I'm generally using all of the characters allowed in the "Details and Accomplishments" bit. When I preview sometimes it goes onto two lines. Will the second line be cut off or what?</p>

<p>For me, I’m just physically stopped from writing any more than a particular limit - which I’m guessing is the limit before my response gets cut off. A lot of mine go onto the second line as well - I don’t seem to have an issue with it.</p>

<p>Yes, it’ll be cut off. The preview view is the view schools will see.</p>

<p>What you see in the preview is what schools will see. Some responses will continue onto the second line but as long as they appear in the preview you should be all set. </p>

<p>Before you submit your information you should print out a hard copy to scrutinize. You may catch things on paper that you miss on screen. For instance, my DS shortened his EC mini-essay to be under the 1000 character limit but when he printed his application draft out it still cut off the last line. He had to remove the paragraph separation lines and indent instead.</p>
