Worried over Common App for Wake Forest! :(

With only two days before the deadline I decided to create an account on this website for last resort advice. As i completed my application for Wake Forest, I reviewed and edited all my supplements and they appeared fine. They were all well within the character limit that they provided. However, when I looked at the "print preview" it shows that a couple of the answers that I provided were cut-off. Of course I checked back and looked at the character limit and for one of the answers there was 12 characters remaining and for the other there was 321 left -yet they were cut off on the preview.

Does anyone know what I can do? Or does anyone else have the same issue? I emailed the Admissions office but without luck because they are all on vacation until after the deadline. Any suggestions? the deadline is fast approaching. :(

Above each essay field, you should have seen a bold piece of text that states your text ‘could’ be cut off and to print preview before you submit.

Remove some of your hard returns as these take up real estate on the PDF yet only count as 1 character.

same thing happened with mine – i had double spaced in between paragraphs. usually if you go back and make it

Paragraph 1
Paragraph 2
Paragraph 3

instead of

Paragraph 1

Paragraph 2

Paragraph 3

it’ll be fixed

Just edit it to make sure the spacing is how you like it and, if needed, cut your essay down some more. Usually, you need ~10 free characters for the entire thing to fit.
