Is it true that “Your Stanford Admission Decision Email” doesn’t say “Stanford University” in the sender’s name, but rather the actual name of your regional admission officer if you’ve been accepted? I’ve heard some cases where some people had this kind of situation and others didn’t.
They’re using the portal this year. You won’t get an email.
@1golfer1 Alright, so I’m assuming that everyone is going to receive an email sent by the institution and not from a specific person since the email is just a reminder to check one’s portal?
You won’t receive an email at all.
It doesn’t really make sense that we won’t get an email telling us to check the portal…
@cb45cb45 REA didn’t get an email this year telling us to check the portal. I found out through their Twitter, but they also posted the date on their Admissions blog.
@IBscholar …oh dang. So what time on April 1st should we check the portal, do you thinkl?
@cb45cb45 I don’t know what time, but the decisions are probably coming this Friday!
I’m so nervous…
@Bizziee wow okay definitely not ready for that
I am going to debunk this rumor. My acceptance letter from last year was from the Stanford Admissions Office. So don’t worry about your sender or any other crazy factors. Open your portal tonight at 3pm PST and stay positive. Good luck!
For us, getting into Stanford means having to pay a lot of money and probably no financial aid, so whether good news or bad news, there will be good and bad aspects to it.
