Well I’ve been on here since like 10th grade so… lol. This was a compilation of different screennames I was using at the time.
Gypsy Eyes is what my Romani grandfather called me as a baby. Romani because Romani = gypsy.

Mine is pretty obvious - yes, I attended Syracuse University way back when.
Fun fact - I was at work the day I discovered CC and the very first post I read on this site was by @blossom. The second was a post by @thumper. For a few seconds I wondered whether I had stumbled upon some weird Disney fan site dedicated to college admissions. I was actually working for the Mouse at the time. Fortunately, I figured it out before calling my coworkers over to see the newest Internet oddity I found…

I attended the University of Texas and now I live in Maine. I picked the name because once a Texan, always a Texan.
When we got the internet some 23+ years ago, we needed screen names for our new email account. My husband made mine up. My name is Susan and he often referred to me as Suzy (how he’d spell it) but for my screen/email name, he changed it to Soozie, and we lived in Vermont. Thus: SoozieVT. When I joined CC, I just continued using that name.
Over the 18 years I have been on this site, this kind of thread has come up several times. 
I hate mine. Years ago on another board, someone was always teasing me and calling me Prisonlady because of it.
The first 3 letters “con” are the first 3 letters of the company I worked for.
I do have a different name on 2 other boards I joined years ago. I like those much better!
It’s the name of our pony farm. We’ve raised mostly English show ponies since 1997 and first got on the internet due to the farm. It made sense to use the name.
Fast forward a couple of decades+ and we only have 5 ponies here now (vs 28 at our high point), but I’m too lazy to change what we’ve had for years. It’s still the name of our farm.
