you're all probably sick of this question...

Hi,

I'm just looking for a little reassurance. I'm trying not to get my heart set on my Early Action school, Yale, but, what are my chances?

Composite 33

SAT II

Biology (2002) 700

Thanks!

Your numbers are great, but it doesn't look like you have anything special to make yourself stand out. Do you have any passions or things you excell at in your ECs?

Well, I am the 2nd chair cellist of my youth symphony. I won the Award for Best High School Newspaper Story in Utah for 2 years in a row. I've been the lead in the musical for 2 years...I don't really know what "standing out" is. It kind of seems like everyone who applies in incredible.

In other words, I really feel like I passionate about everything I do...but so does everyone else!

Argh, ok, if no one is willing to shore up my ego (hehe), what are you all doing to reduce stress?

Bump bumpity bump

bump diddle diddle bump

bump bump bump bump bump

might wanna tell us more about yourself. If that's all you've got...

I'd say a 50% chance

Umm - 20 - 25% chance
Same stuff as everyone else who applies there has, so good luck

Ok, well thanks for your honest opinions. I didn't want to be too long winded, so if you're REALLY interested, a bigger profile is in the Yale discussion. Thanks again, and good luck
