Does anyone know much about this? My son’s counselor wants to nominate him but I don’t know much about it. Is it worthwhile? Do kids get a lot out of the program? Thanks!
Which youth leadership program? What organization? There are many leadership programs out there for Hispanic students so it would help to know which one. Also if it is one that is full-pay, do not do it because there are others that are free or at a reduce price such as LEAD, SAMS or the Chicano Youth Leadership Project. https://www.clylp.org/programs
Son participated last year and was surrounded by scholarly students from around the country. If your son gets accepted he will be surrounded by the best of the best.
