YouTube channel on Common App Extracurricular Activities?

Should I list my YouTube channel in my Common App extracurricular activities? I made beauty, fashion, and vlogging videos for about three years and I only have around 150 subscribers. During freshman, sophomore, and parts of junior year I spent around 6 hours each week on making, filming, and editing a weekly YouTube video. My videos are kind of silly though and not super high quality, like if someone I knew watched them I would feel slightly awkward. However, I really love making videos, filming, and editing. It’s one of my favourite hobbies. Is YouTube a no-go for college admissions? Do you think they would dislike the concept? Also, could I list YouTube as an activity but not give my channel name so they can’t find my videos?

You should definitely list it and you’re under no obligation to give the channel name.

It’s a really cool hobby. It takes a lot of gut to put yourself out there on Youtube for the world to judge and it seems like you were really dedicated to making videos.

If I were you, I might even write an essay on it as well.
