<p>American schools do not offer admission based on IB score except for maybe UF, but they still look at SAT and GPA. They look at GPA and SAT/ACT, not IB predicted points. If you get a high predicted, it won’t really matter for American colleges. The schools won’t ever get your IB score (unless you decide to send it in), so the IB predicted are just a formality on the common app. This said, the schools still want a high predicted on the commonapp international supplement.</p>

<p>And to CentralFC, a 36-40 is pretty impressive. Considering a 36 is at the 86 percentile and a 40 is at the 96 percentile (given the smaller self-selecting nature of IB compared to AP). Of course, nobody knows that including the colleges and everyone expects all those taking IB to have like a 42+ predicted, which is just ridiculous.</p>
