I want to transfer into a private university. I was wondering would it make a difference if i went to a 4 year CSU (cal state northridge is the one i might attend) or 2 year CC. However, the CC system is closer to the UCs in california. I kind of wanna use the UC's as a back up if i don't get into the private universities i want (pepperdine, boston college, stanford, Georgetown). And i think if you do a 1 year transfer, they look at your high school grades and test scores. Would it be a good idea to retake the SAT/ACT? I got a 28 on the ACT and a 1670 on SAT.
Thanks for the help,

bumpity bump bump please

cc for sure, you could use the uc's as backup schools and get into most easily with a decent gpa after 2 years. Usc i'm not so sure but I think they prefer cc transfers over csu.
