Need some opinions - Hope you guys can help me out.

I'm going to Community College in CA, I want to finish them in two years and transfer to either SDSU or UCSB. I'm not sure if it's really worth it to waste one more year at CC and try to transfer to USC and UCB. (I don't really like my CC, even though the professors are really nice, sometimes, I just felt so left out)

The problem is that I have a scholarship, and they only let me stay 2 years in CC, and transfer to a University in the next 2 years. Is it realy worth it to stay one more year at my local CC and cancle that scholarsip? (about 8,000 scholarship)

My major is business administration with a concertration in accounting, and now my GPA is 4.0.

I'm not sure if I can get into USC because my SAT is pretty low. Around 1000, I felt pretty dumb saying it now. I'm never good at taking those tests. I can try retaking it one more time, but I felt pretty tired now. I just want to finish the school, get my degree, and hopefully can get a decent job with a decent pay.

Would SDSU be good enough? or is it really worth to stay one more year at my local CC and hope that I can get accepted to USC?

Thanks for your help.

My High School GPA is 4.1 - felt like I have done pretty good in HS and CC but my SAT ........

Honestly, I don't really know what to do .. hope you guys help me out

P/S: Thanks Brand_182 for your encouragement

Why would you need to spend another year at CC in order to transfer to UCB or USC? Sorry, feel like this has an obvious answer, but for some reason I'm not getting it. Your gpa looks great. IMO, you have an excellent shot at Cal and USC.

dude you should totally try for UCB or USC.. i think SDSU and UCSB may be a little to "low" for you. also, although usc asks for ur SAT, i really doubt they put it into much consideration.

Yah, USC does not care about your SAT at all. I'm sure you can get in with a 4.0.

Hi talkell - cause USC required 3 semester of Foregin Language. I'm not sure if they required it for Business Administration - I tried to look it up yesterday but couldn't find any information about it.

Also, it would be better for me, in case if they required it, to say at CC and finish them of. Since the class is smaller, the cost is cheaper, and it's easier too.

I need one more year because SDSU required alot of classes. I can finish them off in 2 years if I take 7 classes this semester and 7 classes next semester. I already took 7 classes last semester, and I don't want to take it again. So if I can spread out in the next 2 years, instead of 1, it would be better for me.

Moreover, I can have more time to look for job, work and support my family.

Thanks so much for all of your comments. I guess I'll try to transfer to USC and UCB in fall 2008 then.
