100% Iraqi Immigrant looking at his chances

<p>Hi Everyone, I immgrated here with my family after the Gulf War from Baghdad. Currently im a Jr in a very competitive school in California. What are my chacnes for:</p>

<p>Stanford, UCB, UCLA, Upenn, Princeton?</p>

<p>Weighted GPA: 4.44
Unweighted GPA: 3.95
SAT: 2110

770-math
720-writing
11-essay</p>

<p>AP Bio: 4
AP Chem: pending (prob 4/5)</p>

<p>ECs:
Will be in NHS next year
Spanish Club & Key Club
Varsity Water Polo Captain (since my frosh year on varsity)
Varisty Swimming (since frosh year)
Frosh/JV Basketball
600+ Volunteer hours at local hospital</p>

<p>Will be studying abroad this summer for 2 months in Cairo, Egypt on a full scholarship (only 16/400 got it and i was one of the 16)</p>

<p>Also attended NYLF forum on Medicine last summer</p>

<p>ucla you should be fine, but for the rest try getting your SAT's up to at least 2200. It is not a requirement, but you will be much more highly regarded by the evaluators.</p>

<p>if your school is that competitive, Berkeley should be no problem. mine is semi competitive (~30 to Cal each year) and ppl with atrocious GPAs and SATs got in. Look at your school record with each school. Approx. how many get in each year? Most of this stuff is better taken relatively, with those figures in mind.</p>

<p>I'd be cool to write an essay about your (unique) feelings about Iraq.</p>
