$1000 Housing Deposit--Does it include the $500?

<p>Can anyone tell me, especially NYU UGADMISSION, whether or not the $500 deposit sent in with my NYU Acceptance card is credited towards the $1000? Should I send in a check of $1000 or $500? I'm pretty sure I read that it IS credited, but I would REALLY like confirmation (I'll be calling soon, but if I can skip the phone call....:) ).</p>

<p>you have to send $1000 on top of the $500 that you initially sent in. they are both credited towards your housing and tuition.</p>
