I know 9th grade is the main applied for year, but I was wondering how many were applying for Sophomore year. More specifically, How many are going to Andover or Brooks?

hey
Going 2 Brooks as a sophomore

(We already talked...) But, Andover for 10

andover takes about 85 new sophomores a year

Going to SPS as a sophomore.

peddie as a sophomore. i would have killed to got into andover as a sophomore! rejection. ouch.

About Brooks: some numbers from Peterson's:

74 kids in 9th grade class
90 kids in 10th grade class
97 kids in 11th grade class
100 kids in 12th grade class

162 girls & 199 boys
111 day & 250 boarder

So, while the majority of kids apply for 9th grade, there are definitely a lot of kids who come in for 10th grade (IV form).

10th grade- Milton Academy

10th grade - St. Paul's

I got into Brooks for 10th grade and some guy from the board of trustees said they only let in 10 to 15 kids this year

10th grade - Concord Academy

Really? That few? What was Brooks' acceptance rate overall?

110 out of 500 something, maybe I am wrong but that is what he told me

Our letter from Brooks said that they received 778 applications for 110 spots.

I don't know whether it was the whole school but that trustee told me that so maybe he wrong I am not sure
