10th grade transfer, will I every fit in?!

So I am now a junior at this private catholic school. and I really just dislike it completely. I used to go to a public school and I pretty much messed around my freshmen year. So my parents sent me to this private school. I have been there for now a year. and still every weekend I hangout with my best friends from the public school. I am trying to stop myself from doing this because I know its not good because I will never connect with the people I am graduating with. Oh and so this Catholic school is 10 times easier, and I did really well on all the regents in 10th grade. So there is no doubt that i will go back to the public school but the question really is... Should I continue to hang out with my public school friends who I have known my whole life... Or should I try and assimilate with these private school brats?!.

Bothhh!!

Whenever someone says that they can't find ANYONE in their school that they can get along with, I just assume they're not looking hard enough. You can't be the ONLY one who dislikes the majority of the people there! You'll find like-minded people if you try hard enough.

Definitely don't give up your public school friends, though. You have fun with them; there's no reason to stop hanging out with them!

you think thats bad how about moving like 100 miles to a new school in your senior year. im not complaining but atleast you can still see your old friends. i totally agree with poseur about trying to make freinds with the people that go to the private school you might come to find that they all might not be brats.
