11 Essay + 60 MC = 660?

So... apparently I seriously blew it on the writing section.

When I took the test in essay, I got a 10 essay with 8 questions wrong, giving me a 670. My May essay was trash compared to my October essay.

Could this be a mistake? I seriously don't think I could have gotten 20 questions wrong on Writing, which is usually one of my strong suits.

With an 11 essay how many could I have gotten wrong and still scored 700ish?

Bleh, I am confused... The CR seemed tough but I scored a 710...

How did other people do in the writing section?

What is the quickest way for me to improve writing, specifically correcting sentence errors in time for the December test?

60 MC doesn’t mean you got 20 questions wrong. It’s scaled to a value out of 80 (there also aren’t 80 questions on the test). Instead you probably got 5 or 6 wrong or something like that

In January -4 (getting 3 wrong) was 69 MC. So I’d guess that you answered 5 or 6 wrong, as Latency said.
