<p>Summer is coming to an end and that means it's time to make the final preparations for life at college. Here are some more tips and reminders that you shouldn't let slip your mind before you leave.</p>

<p>If your computer has an Ethernet port, you put one end into your computer and then the other end into the wall port. Instant internet. I have never used one because my computer doesn’t have an Ethernet port, although I do have an Ethernet cable. </p>
<p>At many colleges you are not allowed to have your own wireless router. You will need to check to see if it is permitted.</p>
<p>Most dorms have ethernet port(s) in the walls, and many if not most will have wireless as well. The hard-wired connection will most likely be faster.</p>
