@polkmn - Im trying to call umich, but its just saying there are too many callers, and to try again later. I’m going to wait another 30 mins and after that, just going to let fate decide.
If they really throw our application to the RD pile because of CB, it shows how inflexible UMich actually is. As my first choice U, I really pray they do not do that.
@CornMine - Yes you should because again each university has its own policy
Update - I’ve tried reaching UMich for the past half an hour, but its still saying there are too many callers… Gonna leave this to fate now
To the rest of you, best of luck!!! Please keep us updated on this thread
Scores pending since Oct 4th. Called CB 2 days back, was told that the status will change by 29th Oct and all scores from Oct 4 and Oct 22 will be sent. Check today morning (as well as now) and it still says Pending
Also got the same email posted above…Will wait till tomorrow morning
I requested my scores from the Oct sitting to be sent to schools on Sept 11th. Said on score reports that they were sent like two days ago(with somescores missing, but that’s an entirely different issue). Logged in today and there is no record whatsoever on my account of me ever ordering those scores in September at all. Why? I’m so confused- the only record I have of that order is the confirmation email I got in September. I then had to pay to have my scores sent to the schools I’ve already applied to. What is going on?
GUYS THE RUSH SCORES ARE ALL SENT!!! Even if your account says still pending CB told me they finished sending all of the rush scores and are working on the others ALSO here is email from CB
Dear Student,
Please be aware that rush-ordered SAT® score reports have been delivered to almost all colleges. We are resolving technical issues with a few institutions and are working to ensure that we deliver scores to them within a timeframe that will allow them to use those scores for early action/early decision applications. These colleges understand the circumstances and are working with us to resolve the issue on behalf of students.
The best way to determine if your scores have been received is to review the status of your score sends in your College Board online account. The website is currently updating this information. Your updated score send status will be fully reflected by 7 a.m. EDT, Oct. 31, 2015.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
The College Board
@APScholar18 - Which schools are you sending to? I think many schools will accept that its CB’s fault, but I’m worried about schools like UMich, they seemed pretty clear that they wouldn’t extend their deadline.
I checked my scores. It says its been sent twice, once on the 28th and once on the 30th. Im scared if this is a glitch. Also they have missed out one of my SAT scores. Anyone with the same issue?
@IntlApplicant Mine also shows up like that! I called CollegeBoard yesterday, and they told me that my scores were sent to UMich, so probably it’s not a glitch! (I really hope so… )/ About the other scores- I think you can update those scores later on (I’d contact them)… UMich just needs one SAT score in order to be able to review your application- at least that’s what they told me.
Does anyone know how long it takes for UMich to download the scores into their system?? I called yesterday and was told that score are not downloaded instantaneously… (also, do they download them on saturdays??)
@polkmn - Thats a relief! I really hope atleast one score has gone through. Its an automated system, but I’m pretty sure they start to download the scores after the Nov 1st deadline (not 100% on this though).
I’ve had the same situation- I request scores for 6 colleges from previous SAT tests, not the October one, and not single one has gone through…They are still in pending status and College Board has not contacted me. I’m really worried about UMich- idk what to do!!
^many will be pushed to RD anyway, so Umich may not extend…less too work through…who knows what they will do. I know Yale has said get it on time, while Duke has given some leeway…wait and see. It is out of your control. And not your “fault”.
My scores weren’t even from Oct administration…honestly, isn’t the point of it being electronic so that these things could be sent faster!! (Sorry, really frustrated right now)
I’m in the same boat as all of you guys… I sent scores over 2 weeks ago to UMich and called college board yesterday. The customer service guy told me my scores would be sent yesterday, but I checked and they are still pending. Hopefully they’ll get out today…
If anyone’s scores change from pending to sent today let us know There would still be hope then…
