@Sherlockian101 but donāt lose hope! There is always regular decision!
CB updated this on their website:
Beginning with the October 2015 SAT administration, the College Board is delivering score reports to colleges through a new electronic reporting system.
At this time, all students are able to view their scores online, and the majority of scores have been delivered to colleges.
We are in the final stages of processing the remaining score reports. With the exception of a few colleges, we anticipate that we will be able to deliver reports to meet application deadlines. For the few outstanding colleges, we are resolving technical issues and are planning to deliver scores within a timeframe that will allow the institutions to use those scores for early action/early decision applications. These colleges understand the circumstances and are working with us to resolve the issue in the best interest of students.
In the meantime, we are updating students and colleges by email as soon as information becomes available.
We understand that this is stressful for affected students. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused families and colleges.
Yeah, I saw thisā¦Iām applying for preferred admission though, so I need Earlyā¦I sent CB a DM too (Iām really desperate wow) and they said something along the same linesā¦fingers crossed!
@Sherlockian thats rough! especially knowing how strict UMich is with their deadline. I guess weāll find out in the next week or so if the scores got thereā¦
Still pending from October 19th. Both Penn and Chicago have posted that they will accept later scores so thatās good. I called college board on Thursday and they said they would send my scores out that night. Of course, they didnāt send it. Called again yesterday and was told it would be sent by night. Surprise Surpriseā¦ it wasnāt sent. [-(
@Sherlockian101 Iām applying preferred to! To which school are you applying?
@polkmn Ross! You?
@Sherlockian101 College of Pharmacy!
@polkmn Have your scores come in?
I placed my orders on October 4th. Have of my scores have been sent on October 28th. The other half are still. f***ing pending.
Does anyone know how strict OSU is with getting scores in on November 1st? I emailed them and they said they would get back to me in 3-5 daysā¦
Come on CB, just send my freaking scores.
If you mean Oregon State, we called them yesterday and they said if everything else was in, they knew about the late SAT scores and it should not be an issue.
@sherlockian101 - Iām applying to ross too. Hope your app isnāt moved to RD since your essays are probably on ross.
When i called the school and asked they said you should also write about LSA (or whatever your second school was), so if you have done that, you may have a chance through RD to atleast get into UMich.
@IntlApplicant I submitted my app before the SAT thing became an emergent issue- so itās all Ross based unfortunately Doesnāt really matter though, if I didnāt get preferred admission, I wasnāt planning on going to UMich, so it all depends on these scores! Good luck to you though!
@Sherlockian101 - Donāt give up yet, thereās a possibility Umich might extend by a bit. Also, try and appeal saying you submitted everything way in advance, including the SAT scores, but CB messed it up.
Best of luck wherever else you are applying though!
I sent my scores on October 26, they got sent today, major screw up because my friends who sent much earlier still have a pending status. Anyways I hope everyone gets their SAT scores sent soon and all the best:)
STILL PENDING LOOKS LIKE IM NOT GOING TO COLLEGE
Hello November. Scores still pending. Thanks, CB.
@Sherlockian101 Yes, I called CB on Friday and they told me my scores had been sent that morning. I had rushed my scores, so maybe thatās how it got there on timeā¦ Hope that they extend the deadline so you get a chance to apply! x
It now says scores sent on both 28th oct and 1st nov (this time its all scores). Anyone with a similar update?
Nothing changed for me so far, though they have released a statement at the top of their website saying all scores have been delivered, except for several colleges that are having technical issues with the new reporting system. Iām assuming UMichigan is one of them since my scores are still pending from way back.
