1310/2000 SAT or 29 ACT... Which is better?

Just out of curiosity... both my SAT and ACT have improved a lot, but these were my initial scores:

SAT-
650 CR, 660 M, 690 W (1310/2000)

ACT-
31 E, 31 M, 30 R, 24 S (29 C)

Which is the better score? I've heard they are extremely similar but in your opinion which is better?

Anyone???

I’d say SAT. [SAT-ACT Conversion chart](http://spart6.org/dhs/Guidance%20website/SAT-ACT%20Conversion%20chart.html)

Hmm… it’s confusing. I initially thought the ACT was better, especially since my score was brought down by the science and my math and reading are certainly higher on the ACT. There are so many different conversion charts around.

Does anyone else have any ideas? I have a friend whose applying to some schools that don’t require her to send all scores and her scores are right about where I started. I think she has a:

29 ACT (31 English, 30 Math, 31 Reading, 24 Science)
1320/2000 SAT (660 CR, 660 M, 680 W)

I’ve told her I think she should send both… but she thinks her SAT is better. Any opinions?
