Ok, so I took the ACT in December and I was pleased with my 29, it was the first time I took it.

I took the Jan. SAT and got a 1240 CR+M, which I was okay with, but my PSAT predicted a 1310.
So I just got the March SAT results back today, and I got a 1320…ten points shy of getting a UA Scholar scholarship.

Now, I remember hearing, I think on this forum, that some kids that had a 31 ACT or 1380 SAT, etc… were still awarded the Presidential Scholarship, even though they technically didn’t make the cut, but they had a high GPA or had some pretty good ECs. I was wondering if Bama did the same thing for the UA Scholarship, because the rest of my app will be pretty good with ECs and GPA, etc… The $3,500 scholarship is nice, but with that alone I would probably not come to Bama.

But I’m planning on taking the SAT in May and in June if I have too. I’m going to try the June ACT as well. I have a few workbooks that I used last time and I’m going to ramp it up even more with the BB.

But hopefully I’ll have another 80 point increase on my CR+M score like last time, 1400+ is the end goal.

Thanks
