Hello. I am wondering if I can take CS150, CS152, and CS170(OR EE120), possibly with CS195 (1 unit) in one semester.
I am a bit worried because 150 and 152 are major design courses. However I heard CS152 is of a lighter load compared with that before 2008.
Thanks.

Both 150 and 152 had a reputation of being very high workload courses (much more work than 5 units of most other courses). It is probably not a good idea to take the two together (or either one with another very high workload course), unless you were taking a lot fewer units of courses than you normally would take.

CS 170 and EE 120 are like math courses in terms of workload (i.e. not that much work if you are good at math).

Thanks for your input.
I am a transfer student. When I refer to the EECS undergraduate notes, I find transfers have to take at least 2 very time-consuming project-based classes. For example, in area III, the sample program has EE120, CS152, CS164, and 1 humanity in one semester. I think both 152 and 164 have a reputation of high workload. I don’t know whether it is possible for transfer to follow it.
