I took the SAT in like May. I tried to prep for it all these months. However the more pratice test I took, the confuser I got. My score is always going up and down. It is not improving at all. I'm retaking at October. What little things can I do to improve? I already have the Gruber's Math book and the Direct Hits 2011 vocabulary book. I just don't really know how to use the Gruber's book. Do I seriously have to go through all those concepts? Because I went through the book a little and the concepts seems so basic (adding fractions?). I'm just wondering if the SAT is really going to ask these really basic questions...or is the Gruber's book not accurate. I only have 15 days to get my 460 CR scores up. :/ What can I do...I'm so helpless right now. Also, please recommend me a good writing book please. I'm going to cram real bad this few weeks.

This might be because you don’t review your tests.
It should take at least 10 minutes to review all of the wrong and correct answers of a 25 minute section.
Reviewing the correct answers makes you more confident, while reviewing the wrong answers will either show you that you don’t know the rules well or you simply weren’t focusing enough

^ Thanks! I did go over the answers However, the more I go over them, the more confused I am. I think I am the weakest at grammar. Can someone recommend me a good grammar book?

To improve you have to take as amny practive tests as you can, and find out why you got the ones wrong, also review right answers as mentioned. Learn to use your time efficiently and implement strategies for fast solving in math and CR.

Grammar should be natural, but you can help by learning grammar thru sparknotes or some other grammar prep.

Go over your mistakes as thoroughly as possible. For math you should read over the Blue Book and work through every practice problem in the practice sections. This will allow you to have a more firm grasp on the concepts.
