I didn’t even take the PSAT as a freshman, but my scores increased by ~20 points from sophmore to junior year, without much studying. You’ll improve with time and practice. :)

I don’t get what they don’t understand. That seems pretty straightforward to me.

I got a 278 PSAT as a Freshman. You all suck!

This thread is hilarious in so many different ways.

To the OP: Like the reasonable people in this thread said, your score is about average. Please don’t let all the boasting about high PSAT scores get you down. Plenty of people scored higher scores, yes, but plenty of people also scored lower–it’s just that only the people with higher scores feel compelled to brag about it here. Depending on the range of colleges you want to apply to, you may want to shoot for a higher score later on, but you’re only a freshman, so don’t worry about it right now.

Funny, aren’t we?

Well you also have one of the top ten highest IQs in the world so I’m not surprised.

I recieved a 190 when I was 13 but it does slightly depend on your grade level. If you are still in middle school, than that would considered a score that shows your potential.

I am sorry, but for me at least, the PSAT did not correctly predict my SAT score what’s so ever. For instance, this year, I took the PSAT and the Oct SAT the week after. Results? SAT > PSAT*10 + 200
