17 Apps?

This is Sparta! Tonight, we dine in Hell!

I am doing 14…I feel so flustered, but I hope it’s worth it at the end =/

Im only doing 8 or so, I just thought such a title would get a lot of hits.

Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I don’t see how a person could do more than 12 unless it was for a finanical reason and actually like them all. I am applying to 8 and don’t even like 2 of them (they are financial and academic saftey’s.)

yeah…20 here. and there would be more but the common app wont let me :c

though I will probably be able to take out 2-3 if I get into my EA school

i’m doing 6

13! Obviously not superstitious.

Yeah 17 isn’t horrible, good luck.

I only did 1 (ED) so far and it was hell. And I’m only doing 5 more, worst case scenario. Oh my god.

im doing 10.
1 is stanford
4 are ivies
5 are matches and safeties
its strange…how different my colleges are.

12 schools. my friends all think I’m crazy.

3 apps

crazy right?

13 apps here. 13 is my lucky number, so it works.

10 apps here…

My friend is actually doing 17; it’s crazy. She’s applying to a lot of UCs (same app, you just pay more for each one), but still…

Somewhere between 8-10 apps. I must say that while I wouldn’t mind attending most of the schools on my list (apart from my safety, which I would like to avoid), some schools certainly take a precedence over others =P

Question for all you guys who are applying early somewhere and still sending off 100000 apps: wouldn’t it be smarter to wait and see if you got into your EA/ED school before paying thousands of dollars in application fees for the other schools? Assuming your early school is your top choice (and in ED, you really don’t have a choice) then… just seems like it’d be smarter financially to wait till Dec 15 before sending off all those other apps.

My top choice (early action) is also my most expensive. If I don’t get in or don’t get enough $, I don’t want to worry about more applications come December. Might as well get them all out at the same time, that gives you more to choose from anyway

Lol I’m doing 4 because I don’t want to pay $$ for CB to send out my SAT score reports.

I know I’m only a junior, but come senior year I’ll only be applying to 3 schools. I now know for sure I’ll be applying to the University of Michigan (I’m in-state AND in Ann Arbor) and UC Berkeley. UPenn is off my list… I was originally planning to be an Econ major, but recently decided I probably wouldn’t bother. I’m now looking for a 3rd school - possibly one of the Ivies besides Penn.
