18 Units and working part time too much?

These are all general ed classes I’m trying to knock out. Will be 18 units in total including my english and math staples. Going to be working about 20 hours on the weekends too. Also wanted to join a club that meets up a couple times during the semester. Should I drop one class?

It seems like you will have a full course load. How many hours are you planning on working during the week?

I too am working with 18 units. I don’t think it’ll be too hard especially with general ed classes.

No way anybody can answer this. You could be a genus or a dunce. Your school could be difficult or easy. Who knows. How good are your study habits and educational background? However, you can try it and then decide to drop a course based on how much work each course take.

It really depends on the difficulty of the courses, your study habits, etc. and so on. From my perspective, I can say it’s doable, as I am working part-time (20-30 hours, time permitting. I am lucky in that I schedule my own hours), taking 18 credit hours, and I’m the President of my school’s Global Students Club (we meet twice a month). So, is it doable? Yes. Is it easy to juggle? No. You really need to be aware of what you can do and how much you can handle.
