180 miles away from Nashville

And no letter in the mail. period.

We live in Morgantown, W.Va. and we got our letter today. FWIW.

It just goes to show you that “a watched pot never boils”. :)

Still nothing in today’s mail. Are acceptances in Priority Mail while waitlist/rejections in regular mail?

My son’s friend who lives nearby received a rejection yesterday, but there was nothing in our mailbox yet again today - we’re in New England.

Everything is mailed out the same way.

Perhaps the acceptance envelopes are heavier and take longer to arrive:)

If you consider that 28,340 applied in total and that approximately 2800-2900 of those had already received decisions through ED, the number of RD mailings was around 25,500. Add to that the priority mail envelopes going to ED admits with housing, meal plan, & other information and they mailed 26,000 pieces of mail last Friday. It is SO hard to wait - believe me, I know. However, logistically that’s quite a bit of mail for the local USPS to process on top of their normal load and it’s going to take some time to get there in some cases. Good luck to you all!

240 miles away and still no mail. Relieved not to be the only one waiting.

@weather - Not sure if you are like us and always enter the house from the garage, but you might want to check the front door. The big envelopes won’t fit into most mailboxes, our envelope had been placed between the screen and front door…

Good luck
