Hello CC, I took my first SAT in March and received a score of 1810. To be precise, a 560 CR, 650 Math, and a 600 CW / 9 Essay. I plan on raising my score to a ~2000 before the May/June test comes around, and I am wondering if it is possible in the 1-2 months to achieve my goal. If it helps, I realized I had made some careless errors on the Math portion (1. Gives a set of numbers where you were to identify the median/mode, and for some reason I did not think a median could also be a mode. 2. Last question on one of the sections, asks for the possible numbers in an absolute value inequality, mistake was I did not write down my work correctly).

You can definitely make that 9 to a 12 just by looking over some questions and timing yourself. I think you can do it, you have around 20 days left. Read through some explanations and answers for the writing section that will help you a lot. Before studying I got around 500-600, after looking at explanations and answers, I graded myself and got over a 700. Critical reading is killer, know word roots for sentence completions however that might confuse you. Read some articles and ask yourself why the writer wrote it and the compare some works. Just make sure to do a lot of practice tests and grade yourself before May/June. Good luck:)
