so.. my 18th b-day's on sunday, and my dad asked me what present I want... I honestly have no idea what want.. So I was wondering if you guys have any good suggestions? I told him I didn't want/need a present, but he got all upset about me never accepting any of his gifts ( we have a screwed up relationship. He's been your typical working dad. I hardly see him, and even less now that he lives on his own). So I sort of NEED to tell him what I want as a gift, because if not he'll probably make a huge deal out of it.

I 'm thinking that I could also just ask for cash, seeing as I'm going off to college in the states this august..

Ask him for a ton of Penn apparel. Like every shirt you can find from the book store and Ivy Sport.

No suggestions but happy early birthday =].

Yeah, definitely a lot of Penn apparel. You can't go wrong with a Boston album a la Revvy.

Thanks romanigypsyeyes , I love early bday congratulations hahaha... thanks to all the others for your suggestions. I already have a Penn apparel fix lol ( my moms in Jersey right now for some business trip, so she told me she'd pass by penn on her way back and buy me some tshirts and sweaters). Anymore suggestions? I was thinking maybe some clothes, somewhere along the lines of a diesel gift card or something ( there is no way he's gonna go buy my jeans, he'd probably choose the worst looking haha)

A trust fund? For while you're away at college? W/ a fixed amount? Jus so you can go out on the town every now and then.

A vacation (small one)!

If you're a guy:
A really nice, timeless watch that will last forever and you will wear every day.

If you're a girl:
A very nice, timeless bracelet/necklace/watch that will last forever and you will wear every day (and have it engraved).

ask what you will use the most and come in handy.
