<p>any ideas? I want to get him smething simple and inexpensive. nothing I have to order of the internet/tv or anything like that.
what would you get your 51 year old dad?</p>

<p>If possible, an event with you. A movie, fast food, a music event (cheap or free) a picture of the two of you together. Or wash, wax and vaccuum his car.</p>

<p>My kids went to a local dept. store that does cheap portrait photography and had their picture taken together. Awesome. Get him to go with you and have a picture taken of the two of you.OR Take a few pics of the two of you together and chose one to enlarge and frame.</p>

<p>If he plays golf you could get him a golf club, but that seems kind of cliche.</p>

I was thinking of getting him a pipe (even though he doesn't smoke)...just something decorative really.
