Haha...I know this girl. She took 19 credits last semester (slacker...lol) and was bored, so 28 this semester, and 31 scheduled for spring/summer.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. What's the big rush, other than the ego trip of making school history. It's not about saving money...her family has plenty.

even so, sometimes you have to sacrifice things to enjoy life.

in her case, sacrifice her need to take 27+ credits a semester to enjoy her college years. im a bit surprised by the picture actually, i was expecting at least a FEW white hairs. imagine how much stress she went through, the sleep deprivation..

seriously, if she's smart enough to "multiply by the age of 4" and graduate from UMich in one year (incoming as a junior), she should be able to do much better than Wayne.

I tried to add her on facebook actually...didn't work out.

I can't criticize her too much, as I have my own plans to graduate a year early. At the same time, I really have to question her maturity and her motivations. I am a COMPLETELY different person compared to after my freshman year. Beyond that, there is no other experience in American life that equals your undergraduate experience, and it really is a huge loss to rush through it in one year. I mean...is that all UM is about...the degree at the end? I hope not...that should make us all sad.

As for Wayne State...well...its telling that she's going to a completely unimpressive law school. I imagine that she would have trouble at more prestigious law schools, even if her LSAT was really good. Answering those questions about "why law" and "why only 1 year of undergrad" would probably do her application in. Or...perhaps after doing a semester of 27 credits, she didn't have time to study for the LSAT in the first place...wah-wah.
