1920 SAT, 3.07 GPA: Chances early decisioning to Tulane?

Yes, I realize my GPA is incredibly low; there's no need to inform me

I haven't taken the SAT yet, but I made a 192 on the PSAT, so I should at least make a 1900 on the SAT, and probably higher since the curve on the PSAT is harder than on the SAT (the intelligence of PSAT takers is higher).

And my GPA will be about a 3.07 when I early apply, but it should be about a 3.20 after this semester.

So to summarize:

SAT: At least a 1900 (probably between 1950-2050)
GPA: 3.07 (weighted)
EC's: I was in three clubs, played baseball for my high school, and have a special needs little brother who I spend a lot of time taking care of
AP's: I've taken 3 AP classes and made a 4 on the AP Stat exam

So, given the above, what percent chance would you give me for getting in early decision at Tulane?

And if they deny me for early decision, and move me back for regular admissions, how likely do you think it is that they'll accept me then (keep in mind, I will have a 3.20 GPA at this point).

If I omitted any relevant information, let me know.

...And please don't say, "I think you have a bad shot," or, "I think you have good chances," because that is way too vague and I have no idea how to interpret what you actually mean.

So, if you guys would, could you tell me what percent chance I have?

Thanks.

lol at GPA...you have a good chance otherwise

Umm... Tulane has early action.

But you have a decent chance if you up your GPA.

@ Siglio21

If I have a good chance otherwise, does that mean I at least have a small chance with my GPA?

@lilygraces

Early action, whatever, same thing, lol

But I don't have time to get my GPA in time for early action (November 1st), what percent chance would you give me with a 3.07 early action? And what chance would you give me with a 3.20 for regular admission (if they reject me early action)?

Thanks

You still have a decent chance. 20% of the school was admitted with a 3.0-3.24 GPA.

ok if you can get above a 2000 (i think you can do it) on the SAT's, then you should be fine. and i think their deadline is 11/15, so you have time to take the SAT once, maybe twice. good luck.

chance me too http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/569604-so-last-one-had-too-many-errors-one-s-better.html

I've learned that people on CC are extremely competitive students who despise nothing less than perfection, (no offense to anyone). So my recommendation would be to higher a college conselor or if you have one at your school(free), go and ask him/her what your chances are instead of asking other seniors across the country who are just guessing through your number of Ec's, test scores, and GPA. I hope that I helped, but please do not mistake me for being too critical of this site, i updated a profile of mine also.

bump, although I appreciate the replies, I want more, lol

speaking of tulane, i heard that some folks have already received acceptances/rejections from their VIP applications. is this true?

one final bump
