1st Semester Grade=Reject?

I've been accepted ED to UPenn. But my 1st semester grade sucks right now. I'll probably have a C, maybe 2. And the rest all Bs.
Will this rescind my acceptnce? Will this lead to a reject? What's the limit we have to maintain?

I think youll be ok but try to bring them up

I don't think it will be a huge deal unless you have like, low D's, then I'd be a little worried.

Don't get D's and you'll be fine.

don't worry i kno ppl with worse

are you sure? cuz i heard we need a 3.0 unweighted or at least a B average.. or our acceptance will get rescinded.
i'm freaking out right now.
i was a straight A student until now... and i dont have any As this semester T_T

I think I just failed a Calc test, but I have all A's otherwise, I hope a C in calc won't kill me

ahhhh i'm worrying here too.

i'm ending the semester with an 81 in ap physics b, unweighted.
it is an 88 weighted.

i'm predicting these as my grades weighted (take 7 pts off of the ap classes for unweighted):
ap physics b: 88
ap chem: 97
ap stat: 94
ap lit: A-ish
yearbook: 95
orchestra: 100

are these safe enough? i was admitted ED as well.

wait a minute....al1nax01, are you on the fb group? i think i saw your post there...

I dunno what the cutoff is, I think I'm gonna call the admissions office tommroow anonymously and ask.

funnyguy, please do. and if you find out stuff. could you write it on here?

you guys do know that you need to basically fail classes (F's or low D's, or D's in some cases) to get rescinded, right?

On the end-of-year transcript report your counselor only has to explain if you have received a D or an F. Anything above that is fine. Chill out and enjoy your senior year.

I know a guy who got accepted to harvard...and then got straight C's and nothing happened. just don't get Ds, but even if u do one or two won't hurt ya =)

and obviously what u've been "told" will not be the limit--it'll probably be much higher. and besides, you do have a B average...anything a little below won't hurt at all.

and for isabella...seriously what do u think?! hahaha

to the OP, you are fine=]

Take it easy guys, we're in, just don't screw up majorly and we'll all be eating cheesesteaks in no time <3
