1st Semester Grades?

Currently, my grades are dipping (college applications + working (unemployed father) + finals stress)
I am standing here:
AP Calc BC - B+ (Dipped from A-)
AP Lit and Comp - B+ (Dipped from A-)
AP Econ - B+ (Dipped from A-)
AP Physics C - A/A- border
AP Spanish Literature and Culture - A- (may dip down to a B+

I have never had this many B+ (except freshmen year) and my trends have been solid upwards movement. I’m applying a lot of highly selective schools and I’m worried this might actually have a sizeable impact on the admissions. I’m not really sure where to ask or if anyone really knows. I’ve had to continue to work, work on these colleges papers (18 more colleges), and with the upcoming finals, I’ve felt pretty swamped the past 2/3 months and my grades have dipped quite a bit. I mentioned this in the “additional info” and the optional supporting documents but I’m really not sure if that’s enough.

Suggestions or insights?

I’m a Junior so take this lightly. By all means you won’t get rescinded with these grades and I’m pretty sure colleges only see the first semester of your grades (im assuming this is second semester). As such there is really nothing to do than try and do well for the rest of year. If it becomes dire, try and focus your efforts on your applied major instead of on all classes. (im assuming your not a Spanish major) EX: if your Spanish grade drops to a B+ you will have a very high B+ which is mostly likely not drop to a B thus you can siphon some time from Spanish studying into doing well in other classes without worrying about Spanish as a minor hit wont matter much to a high B+ to go to a B. Good luck
