<p>Let's say a student gets accepted ED but he/she gets 3 As and 3 Cs for the first semester. Is there any chance of the student having the acceptance rescinded? What kind of grades does one have to maintain in order to secure the acceptance? </p>

<p>DEFINITELY C’s are a big NONO for Ivies, even B’s they might rescind off of if you get enough of them… You need All A’s basically, or all A’s and one B</p>
<p>My friend got all B’s his senior year after being accepted with essentially straight A’s. It’s not a big deal, because my friend ignored the e-mail that the admissions committee sent him. C’s are pretty bad but just make up an excuse about how you’ve been experiencing family difficulties in the past few weeks. The administrators can’t pry into your private life so they’ll leave at that. Honestly, not a big deal and I wouldn’t worry about it.</p>
<p>A few C’s won’t get you rescinded. All C’s might, but if you get D’s you definitely will.</p>
