2.0 GPA Accounting Major Job Prospects

Hi, I was wondering how a low GPA will effect my job prospects when I graduate. I just got back into school after a 5 year break. I failed 4 classes (all) my 3rd semester because I basically got into drugs too much and ended up being homeless/in jail. And so I finally got better and back into school. I haven’t taken any economic/accounting classes yet, and before that semester, I was at a 3.0 GPA. I mostly got B’s and a few As, one C, except I did fail anatomy and physiology (I was going for nursing a the time).
I know I can raise my GPA (I have 90 credits to go), but my transcript shows that I failed an entire semester and it also shows that my GPA dipped pretty low. Now, this low GPA was from a different School in a different state, but my current college transcript shows it. But how much does a low GPA matter for accounting majors? My end goal is to take the actuarial exams and become an actuary, but still, I want to know if they look at your GPA and if so, how much weight does it hold? If I did really well in accounting and micro/macro and math classes, would it be explainable? Or is it better to just not put it on a resume?

Thank you
