2+2 with a joint degree program?

I know that you can do an joint MD/MBA with the 2+2 program. But can i use that first "2" years to be in harvard med school??
Because the 5 year joint md mba works like this: M M M B M/B
(M=med school, B=biz school)
So can those first 2 years (or 2 and 3rd year) somehow be used for the first 2 in "2+2"?

The two years of work experience has to be work experience that is approved by the school, and I believe you go through the school to set it up. Med school will not be appropriate and will most likely not be approved for that period of time.

This is something you would probably want to contact the 2+2 program directly about.
It is my understanding that the 2+2 program does allow a lot of flexibility in what you do during your 2 years before HBS, and you are not limited to HBS’s recruiting contacts.

However you are required to be working, (i.e. actually employed by someone full-time) for (I believe) at least one of the two years, so medical school would probably not be approved for the full period of time.

Again, you’ll want to probably call the admissions office to talk about such a special case.

sigh

Get in, first. Everything else is the acceptance package. But yes it’s two years of full-time work.
