What state you from? Your state school is usually the best option.

Florida and UF is like impossible now do probably FSU or UCF... Which not to many people are stoked about so alot of people are looking at like cali and random private schools...

I'm just not sure what kinda schools accept kids with these stats

I'm sure you have a chance at the many other Florida publics besides UF.

lol good sats bad gpa

^ Yeah, not very helpful.

Maybe some of the SUNY's?

what schools in Cali do you think they'd have a shot at?

If going out of state most kids are looking for a fun private school.

Virtually no way at Florida State unless you're something like a talented athlete, highly skilled musician or have overcome compelling adversity.

"If going out of state most kids are looking for a fun private school."

There are lots of small, reasonably fun, private schools out there. Just throw a dart at a map of the US and check within 150 miles of where the dart lands. The thing is, that a lot of schools un-weight applicants' GPAs which means that your pals had better figure out how to raise their grades and had better be able to write really compelling essays.

A 2.6 average will not get you into UF or FSU.

How about Eckerd or the New College? I'd think that the latter might look more favorable on students at a G/T school.

their GPAs are probably more around 3.0s but I was kinda aiming low....

do you think they'd have any chance at like Pepperdine, USanFran, USD, etc?

Pepperdine is a really selective school so probably not, but probably USF and USD. You could check out Point Loma Nazarene which is right next to the beach near San Diego.

USD is harder to get into than USF though

other schools they're interested in are like

Denver
Syracuse
Chapman

a 2.6 would be difficult to get someone iinto syracuse i think. that seems really pretty low
and like evenr university of denver

UC Santa Cruz

Welcome to UC Santa Cruz - Creating knowledge. In a spectacular setting. For over 40 years.

yeah its probably like a 2.8-3.0 actually UW, but weighted like a 3.5 so that make up for it at alot of these schools..

A little further north, Seattle University.

true is Seattle University a cool school?

Seattle seems awesome
