2 extra letters of recommendation?

<p>I already mailed one in, but someone who would highly add to my application only just agreed to doing it. Can I send another one?</p>

<p>In other words, I would rather have sent the letter from this recommender than the one I did before. I am applying to most of the ivy leagues and top colleges. If the school says that it only wants one at most, or prefers none at all, will they not even consider my application if I do send in 2 additional letters? HELP!!</p>

<p>They will not ignore your application, but they might ignore your second letter. If the letter really tells a part of you that none of the other letters did, then I would say go with it. If it is another teacher, then do not bother.</p>
