Is it a sign of a score below 10?

i used two.. brave new world and the metamorphosis

awful. so bad in fact they are going to give you a big fat 0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no.........

2 literary examples, 2 points each. GJ on a 4 essay. 5 if you're lucky.

walton- how did metamporphisis work?

I didn't use any literature examples. All of my examples were pulled from French colonial history, American foreign diplomacy, and nation building (namely, the "compromise" of installing French-loyal elite landowners to support a Vietnamese figurehead Emperor in the 1950s, etc)

My so-called critical thinking was based around the importance of roles in a compromise negotiation. The side with more muscle, if not careful, can put itself in a situation where the conflict is delayed long enough for tempers to boil over. etc etc

In my opinion, perhaps my weakest performance on the whole test. :(

What topic did you guys get? Mine was about words and actions

i basically talked about how george bush was a moron and something about the chernobyl nuclear meltdown =O

StrangeIndianFoo - how did these examples illustrate a topic about compromise? Or maybe you had a different topic.

why would 2 literary be bad?

i used one lit and one history

meh i only had one history

Last time i used two literary examples and got a 12.....

onemoretime, it's a long story

and yes, it was about compromise.

and it worked too...i'd explain it but i'm too dang lazy to do so.

i got a 10 last time, if that garners any merit =D

and sak09 is the devil b/c he has 666 posts

metamorphosis: the family compromised their happiness to have gregor stay in family. at the end, it didn't work out.
