2 perfect scores...send them both in?

I got a 36 twice on the ACT; 35s in science and english the first time around, 35 only in english the second time. 12s on the essay both times.
So: do I only send the slightly better score to colleges, or do I send in both 36s to show them that I can be consistent and do it twice?

Dude. Doesn't make a difference. Perfect is perfect, and a one point difference ain't gonna change a thing.

This thread can't be for real. Why on Mother Earth would you retake the ACT with a 36 the first time?

Send in your 33, it should be fine.

Just send in your second scores, there's no point in sending in both

Mmk

And I retook it because I had to; I tested in February but had to take the test again in April for state testing. Believe me, it was not my choice :P

April? what state are you from. I'm pretty sure all states did a march test.

Umm...send both? Double the fun and double the pleasure?

This thread = lies

I'm from Illinois; we did the Prairie State Achievement Testing on April 25/26, if I remember right. Everyone else got to skip school...sucks to be a junior.

Sounds like you're just jealous of these "lies," david :P

I don't care how well you did on the ACTs. If you got a 36 and re-took it, you're an IDIOT.

Send in one score so colleges don't realize this.

and have a lovely day :)

Commodore - ignore these jealous fools. Send in both. Can't hurt; might help. I'd be impressed that you could do it twice. There's only about... what - 800 36's per year? And you have 2 of them? It ain't bragging if you actually did it. Send 'em in.

Thanks for the support; rough crowd around here :P

only 200 get 36 a year. thats a big achievement to get 36 twice. to the ppl who dont read the entire thread, he HAD to take it again in april for state testing. geez. congrats btw. send the second one in

Why did he take the ACT before his state administered ACT...? Why not use the state ACT as a benchmark before taking one for real?

'She,' FYI.

And I took it earlier because I was taking the SAT and SAT IIs in May/June; that was enough testing for me. Also, the other ACT dates fell at awkward times....and I just wanted to get it over with earlier.

send the slightly better one in, not both

yeah ppl are being mean on here gosh... just send them both in

Haha it may not make much sense, but I'd want to send in both to show that the 36 wasn't just a fluke.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking :P
