I just got accepted to the college and i have 2 questions:

I know we dont find out about housing until later, but can we get singles as freshman and how do we choose housing?

How far can we let are gpa stray (down) from what we currently have?

you can have singles as freshmen. they'll send you housing info in april and i guess you'll have to fill out a form or something.

0.5-1.0? idk = /

There are actually some large singles in Hill. Like..the same size as/larger than double rooms. I've heard that if you really want a single, you should put Hill as your first choice.

Ware has nice double rooms, especially on butcher 4. The baby quad has pretty large singles with sinks in them. they're pretty spacious and some even have walk in closets AND sinks. Those are jackpottsss.

My son has a single in the quad and it is tiny. You can barely walk between the bed and the closet. He likes it anyway, but it is seriously small. I have heard there are much bigger singles.

Remember that almost none of the rooms in the quad are the same, even within houses and buildings and floors, so you really never know what you are going to get.

The baby quad has some singles that are pretty large, and those are the ones with the sinks and the closets. The ones that I know of in Ware are just open closets and some just have wardrobes. The open closets really stink cuz it basically looks like a hole in the wall with a pole going across...(meiosis, but w/e) Having a sink in your room makes it sooo convenient, 'cause if you think about it, you spend a lot of time in front of the sink, regardless of gender, and having to walk to the bathrooom just to use the sink when there's other people in there doing their business is...not that great...and the rooms with the sinks are usually large, so if you have a sink in ur roomm, it's a keeper. don't complain about the size. Some rooms have carpeting and some are just tiles, and the rooms with tiles get sooo incredibly disgusting.

If you look at the Penn site where it lists traditions, it does outline that the Penn-Princeton sports rivalry is pretty fierce. Columbia wants us bad though.
