<p>Hi, I'm planning to double major in Economics and Accounting and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how UM goes about allowing double majors. I haven't seen any information on their website and, being a private school, is probably different from the other schools I've researched (UF/FIU)</p>
<p>Also, if I were to go to FIU, I would get a whole year knocked off because of AP/IB Credits, while UM gives me only half of that. If I were to finish my first 2 years (AA equivalent) in FIU and transfer to UM, would they recognize the credits that FIU accepted from IB/AP, even though UM doesn't accept it for incoming freshmen?</p>
