2 quick scheduling questions

I have two quick scheduling questions.

First of all is 20 minutes enough time to go from west campus to east campus for a class.

I am looking to go from and Engineering 53 Lab to a Writing 20 class on East Campus at 2:30 PM on a Tuesday. And then I would need to go from my writing 20 class in east campus to a Engineering 10 lecture on west campus at 4:05 on a Thursday. Both transition times are 20 minutes.

Second of all, would you recommend Santoro, McKinely, or Lucas for Math 103?

Thanks a bunch.

1.) Barely. You'll often be late.

how bad is being late in college....ie do they care that much or not?

I did 20 minutes from Gross Chem to Carr on east campus 2 days a week...and it sucked. It's not that it can't be done, because I was honestly hardly every late, but it's stressful because I would always feel like I had to walk 80000 miles an hour and sprint to a bus...plus doing it twice a day might be the most irritating thing ever. BUT if it's the only option, if I were you I might just go with it.

A good idea is to talk to your writing 20 professor on the first day of class and let him or her know your situation. I was going to a history seminar on west campus, and talked to my professor on the first day and he was very understanding...saying he realized with two campuses it's unavoidable. With egr lecture coming late probably wouldn't be a big deal.

The general rule of thumb is being late for large lectures really doesn't matter...but imho it's disrespectful to show up late for a smaller class.

You wouldn't want to be late for Writing 20 but EGR53L lab will usually not take up the whole time so it shouldn't be a problem.

Also, it doesn't really matter if you're late for EGR 10.

Yeah, EGR53 lab usually ends with time to work by yourself which is optional. That will usually give you an extra 30 minutes at least, so getting to writing 20 will be no problem. Other than that, EGR10 is a large lecture, so it should be fine to be late sometimes.
