Hey wadddup!
I just wanna know how much time does it usually take to get from Gross Hall to Carr building? I know they are not on the same side of campus, which takes some more time.

I have a chem 201 lab at Gross Hall from 8:30- 11:30 and a math 122 lecture from 11:45-1:00 at Carr.

Do u guys think its possible to get from gross hall to carr building in 15 mins?

Also, is it possible to get from Bryan Ctr Griffith Theater to Carr in 25mins?

One last thing, is it possible to go from French science to Brodie Rec Ctr in 30 mins?

Perhaps Sherpa walks slowly, but my time estimates would be much lower. Carr and Brodie Rec Center are on East Campus while all the other buildings you list are on West. Thus, the main factor is how long the bus ride will take. I would assume ten minutes actually on the Express bus and minimal waiting time at the bus stop during prime class periods (9 am-2pm).

Gross Chem is probably the farthest building from the West Campus bus stop, but you can probably make this trip in five minutes if you hustle. Since you are taking a lab, you will likely be able to leave when you finish the assignment, and before the actual end of the lab period. Carr is only a couple hundred yards from the East Campus stop.

The estimates I posted were actually my daughter’s, who just finished her sophomore year at Duke, and are based on her practical knowledge. She isn’t a slow walker; she’s a Duke varsity athlete. She cautioned that bus wait times can be an unfortunate variable. Apparently sometimes the buses running to East Campus are full and you have to wait for another.

She also cautioned that Chem labs often run over time.
