$200 Enrollment Fee applied to Tuition Bill

The UT Austin website states:

Students admitted to the summer or fall semester are required to pay an enrollment deposit to secure their spot at the university. You can pay your deposit by using your UT EID and password to log into MyStatus and following the link to make your payment.

Your enrollment deposit is due by May 1 or by the date given to you when you’re notified that you’ve been admitted. The fee amount will be applied to your first semester’s tuition and fee bill.

The question is did anyone see a credit for the enrollment fee against their tuition bill? I have a Texas Guaranteed Tuition Fund and they billed the full amount of credits I am taking without adjustment.

Just wondering if I lose that $200 or if it comes back to me. I am calling Student Account Receivables now to try to find out.

Just got off the phone with them and they said a credit will processed after the 12th day of class. Thought I would share just in case anyone else has the same situation. Thanks everyone
