<p>I'm an incoming freshmen at UCR. After spending a month living on campus while taking summer course, i realize that this isn't the place for me. The school is fine and all, but it's the surrounding outside the school that i feel is not suitable for me. Therefore i plan on transferring out when possible. It will be extremely great if i can transfer as soon as possible because that way i wont fall behind in anything for the school that i plan on going to. At first i plan on transferring out after 2 years, but is there any possibilty for me to transfer after one quarter? one year? and where? thanks</p>
<p>here is my advice. since you havnet started yet, drop out of UCR and go to you're local CC and then transfer to a better UC in 2 years. the summer course that you took at UCR will be credited at you're CC depending on what it was, so don't think that class you took was a complete waste. you still have time and if you're goal is to transfer out 100%, no need to take classes there since you don't like it. go to CC, its easier, cheaper, and you have a much higher chance of getting a good GPA and a much higher chance of transfering to schools such as UCLA/Berkeley.</p>
