UC to CC to USC/Another UC

Hi, I'm currently a second year at UCR right now and I feel like this is not the right place for me. My plan right now is to finish this quarter at UCR and get all the classes I would need to transfer to USC done and then go to community college for their next semester. This way I would be able to save myself a couple thousand dollars and possibly pull up my GPA.

My current GPA is 3.33 at UCR and I'm not sure if this is worth the risk. If I go to community college and don't get admitted into the colleges I want I would have to go to UCR again, and that would mean I'd have wasted my time going to CC.

My question is, is this worth doing? Has anyone done this before ? Thanks for the input.

What is your major?

Probably better off trying intercampus transfer instead of UC-CC-UC, especially with the amount of units you have.

My major at UCR is prebusiness and my top choice is USC Marshall.

For UC transfer I would have around 55 quarter units. I was hoping if I went to CC I would be able to get 21 Semester units (31.5 quarter units) which would be much easier to get than at UCR.
