2007 Early Action Results Thread

didn't come in MA today. soooooo anxious. now i have to call during school on monday :x

Nor in Georgia.

A report from two girls in two far apart cities in Ohio: neither got anything in the mail today. We will be watching on Monday.

Nothing in Virginia...***

Wow, this erally makes no sense. It seems like NO ONE is getting their mail... I'm in AZ, losing faith :(

Goody story though, I was driving out of my neighborhood a little while ago and I saw a USPS truck, did a complete U-Turn, hit park before the breaks (which made a lovely sound) and was like do you have the mail for my street? Not his route :(

I live in VA (like a good 40mins away from georgetown) and i still haven't gotten anything. This is killing me!!! I almost wish they'd email us or something.

Good Luck Guys!

No letter on eastern Long Island. I hope this is only by chance! :(

my mail hasnt come yet, if i dont get my letter today im going to flip out though, i wont be able to focus all weekend

It didn't come in Delaware

i cant possibly wait all the way til monday...

Nothing here in Michigan yet.

Congrats to everyone that got in, and good luck to everyone who was deferred (I'll probably be there with you)

Nothing in Long Island, New York.

Nor in New Rochelle, NY.

do you think they mail acceptances first, and then deferrals? cuz so few people have gotten theirs, even though the majority of us should have gotten them today, as long as you live on the east coast.

I saw one person who said they got a letter of deferral today (page 2 or 3), so I'm hoping it's just by chance that only a few people got their letters today.

goddamn! i didnt get mine either. why the **** cant they just send an email out or have a status check online like every other goddamn school

I hate to say it, but does this sort of make you wonder about Gtown? Last school on the planet to have an online application, no Common App, no e-mail notification, and now they didn't move their mailings up a day even though it meant that the vast majority of their applicants will have to wait an extra day for the outcome. My older D applied EA at another school two years ago. She was told that e-mailed decisions would be sent out shortly after 6 p.m. on Dec. 14; hers arrived at 6:15.

Nothing in Indiana either.

Yeah, I'm hoping the lack of letters today is a USPS thing and not a Georgetown thing (mailing acceptances before deferrals). I think I read in one of these threads that someone called the admissions office and ALL the letters were mailed on Thursday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, because someone from my state got an acceptance letter today. Gahh.

Nothing in AZ, just got the mail :(

So I really want to wait to get the letter, but I know I'm not going to have the self control not to call on Monday... anyone else agree?
