Your schedule is fine for a potential pre-med track. You need Honors Physics though. Don't do regular physics. Eventually take AP Physics too. Don't sweat it. Take AP English Language too. You need to increase your reading comprehension and writing skills as much as possible.

thanks anarchist....

can you guys give ur input on taking foreign language.
i am currently in spanish 3; however spanish 1 was taken in 8th grade.
should i take spanish 4 next year or will 2 years in high school at the 3rd level be fine?
my future plan is to go to U-M, apply for BS/MD programs, or get full ride somewhere.

If you are in spanish 3 is should be fine. Alot of my friends decided to stop after sophomore year, but then again i go to a sort of vocational high school. I am zoned so i had to many electives that I had took French 3 this year ( i am a junior). But i also took latin in 8th grade.

Hopeful schedule( i have a feeling guidance will change it, they tried to limit me to 4 ap classes)
Ap economics
Ap Chem
Ap Computer science( also planning to take java-h as another class)
AP Calc
AP Lit
i also plan to take physics honors and newspaper3 as electives and since i have block schedule AB days I will probably be forced into financial management

thanks man, yeah in real i have 3 years of language; however, my transcript will show only 2 years....btw, i am also Bilingual so that might help, to those of you suggesting i should take 3 years at high school level?

Well would your dream schedule allow you to take another year of language. And i believe the school you apply to will realize you took 3 languages because the language you took in 8th grade would be considered high school credit.

yeah i hate taking languages its just annoying
the 8th grade lang is not considered high school credit but on my transcript it will say Spanish 3 in 10th grade and they will hopefully know that i took a year in 8th grade

AP Chemistry
AP Government/Economics
AP English Literature
AP Psychology
AP European History
Honors Calculus lol

AP English Lit
AP Gov/H Econ (SelfStudy AP Macro)
AP Stats
AP Calc AB/BC (Unsure which to study for)
Physics Honors (Self-study AP (oh goody))

A nice round 6.

Being trilingual is always a plus, but if you don't like languages that much, then you should be ok. Personally I love Spanish (especially with an Argentine accent) just because of the culture it opens up. Take what classes you feel you will enjoy and challenge you the most. This advice is definitely cliched, but you'd be surprised how many kids take classes in order to conform to some "college acceptance guarantee" formula.

jamesford- thanks for the advice yeah im going to stick to my current schedule which i believe will challenge me most and hopefully i can keep all A's in them.
I just have a worry that the CO-OP work will wear me out; however, it is only a minimum of 10-12 hours per week and i get to get out of school an hour earlier which is 1 o'clock. Can you guys give me some advice?

Junior Year:
AP English Lit/IB English III
AP French Language
IB Chemistry SL
AP Computer Science A/IB Computer Science
IB Math Methods II
AP Macro/IB TOK
IB American History
Calculus III
Diffrential Equations
AP Biology

swin2daend how do u have so many classes? are some of em like one semester or somethin?

Junior Yr:

AP English Lang
US History
H Precalc
AP Calc AB
French 5-6
AP French

Based on what I've handed in for my tentative senior course selections:

AP English Lit (~)
AP Comparative Gov
AP Physics B
French III
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
Band (~)

The ones with tildes are the uncertain ones. I've heard that next year's AP English teacher's reputed to be, well, strict and/or unfair in grading. Heard that it's very hard to get even B's in the teacher's classes (it may be different for an AP class...). Although I'm interested in AP English, I'm also interested in getting at least a B in AP English to maintain a good GPA (it's currently over 4). Not to mention that I'm currently in regular English, instead of Honors English. An alternate plan involves taking regular English and replacing Band with AP Psychology. What's your advice?

to everyone posting their schedules can you guys help me out with this.
I just have a worry that the CO-OP work (in my schedule) will wear me out; however, it is only a minimum of 10-12 hours per week and i get to get out of school an hour earlier which is 1 o'clock. Can you guys give me some advice?
