If I am accepted at my state's magnet school then I'll take the Junior and senior courses listed, if not I'll have to take courses at a University an hour away.

English 4
AP Calculus BC
AP Government
AP Biology (2 period class)

Yay, only 5 periods! I get leave school at lunch~

I'll also be taking English B (and/or Chemistry) @ community college in the evening and self-studying AP Environmental Science (and possibly Human Geography).

OH MY GOD THAT IS SO MANY CLASSES
I don't even want to follow that.

OH WELL!

Sophomore~
-- Computer Science II GT (not technically an AP course but took the A test and got a 5)
-- French III Honors (for foreign language, "honors" is the highest placement for some reason)
-- English 10 GT
-- AP Gov't and Politics (4 :/)
-- Art I : ]
-- Precalculus GT
-- Chemistry GT

Junior~
-- Art II GT
-- AP Calculus AB (took that)
-- French IV Honors

^^^jesus dude, are your classes 15 minutes long or something?

aigiqinf, if you took the time to make that schedule as a joke in response to what I said, I feel bad for you.

LAWL I didn't realize it was a joke >___<

Senior Year:
AP English Literature
AP Government
AP Economics
AP Physics C
AP Art History
Advanced Topics in Math II(After all Calc and Linear Algebra)
AP Computer Science AB

I'm not sure if I should take AP Computer Science AB because it is the last year it is being offered. I already took A and got a 5 but I found out that most colleges only accept AB. My other choices are probably AP Chemistry and AP Biology.

Senior schedule:

AP Spanish Language
AP Computer Science AB
AP Physics C
AP Calc BC
AP Microeconomics
AP US Government
AP English Literature

Doesn't look like it is a joke unfortunately. That schedule looks like it's from the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science, which has a crapload of courses the junior year and has students enrolled in WPI, a college, fulltime for senior year.

Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science at WPI: Programs of Study

Eh, I'll post my schedule later.

Hey, can you guys give me some input on my tentative schedule for my junior year:

AP English Lang
AP USH
AP Enviromental Science
AP Art History
H Italian 3
MATH*

Self Study: Psych or Human Geo

*I would be in calc next year but i dont like taking math at school, i just never have, so should i just push through and take calc at school or opt to take it at a local community college in night classes twice a week, and just have a study hall/advance drawing and painting class as replacement.
BTW I plan to major in architecture in college

haloha: i would take calc at school because colleges prefer that you not take classes elsewhere if it's offered at school.
you should take the painting classes or w/e at a community college to show your 'passion' for architecture

damnnnnnnn to those of you taking 5+ APs senior year.
are your schools REALLY competitive?

at my school, 4 is a lot already, let alone for sr year.

idk, i know many people who haven't taken honors OR ap english despite being in AP everything else and they still got into HYP etc.

haha

i wish wish WISH i self studied psych and human geo

sushifureak: thanks for the input.

What if instead of AP calc, I just take HS Calc?

AP calc, furshure.
colleges like that you challenge yourself w/ APs even though that subj is challenging for you; B in AP > A in CP
and AP calc is pretty easy once you understand the few concepts.

sushifureak: I just want to make sure i dont overload myself with to much work.

Hi everyone. I'm going to be a sophomore next year. I signed up for AP Chemistry. Everyone I know says that it's a killer. My school doesn't offer lots of APs. I want to self study. Do you guys think that I'll have the time while taking AP Chemistry? I'm kind of thinking...AP European History or something.

Thanks. I really appreciate it.
